Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of FastClerk ("the Service"), operated at fast-clerk.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What FastClerk Does
FastClerk is a document automation platform. You upload source documents (invoices, reports, forms), and the Service uses AI to extract fields and map them into your desired output format (Excel, Word, JSON).
FastClerk is not a professional service provider. The outputs are generated by AI and are provided for automation convenience only — not as legal, financial, tax, or accounting advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all outputs before use.
2. Your Account
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms (either personally or on behalf of your organisation).
2.2 Account security
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. FastClerk uses email OTP — if you suspect unauthorised access to your email, secure it immediately.
2.3 Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate information (email address) when signing up and to keep it up to date.
3. Ownership of Data and Outputs
- You own your data. FastClerk does not claim ownership of files you upload or data extracted from them.
- We do not store your source files. Uploaded documents are processed in memory to extract fields and are automatically purged once extraction is complete. We only retain the structured data you choose to keep.
- You own the outputs. All documents, spreadsheets, and JSON files generated from your extracted data belong to you.
- You grant FastClerk a limited licence to process your documents solely to deliver the Service. This licence ends when your data is deleted.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use FastClerk to:
- Create, produce, or distribute fraudulent, forged, fabricated, or deliberately misleading documents — including but not limited to fake invoices, falsified financial statements, forged government submissions, or documents intended to misrepresent facts to any person, organisation, or authority
- Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property
- Upload documents containing personal data of third parties (e.g. NRIC numbers, bank details, medical records) unless you have a lawful basis under PDPA to process such data
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract training data from the platform
- Use the Service for bulk or automated processing beyond what your plan permits
- Circumvent usage limits or credits through technical means
- Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or other users
FastClerk reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. AI-Processed Outputs
- Document processing uses third-party AI services
- AI outputs may contain errors — you must verify all generated outputs before submitting them to any government portal, accounting system, or client
- FastClerk is not liable for errors in MyInvois submissions, UBS imports, or any other system based on outputs generated by the Service
- The Service does not submit directly to LHDN (Inland Revenue Board) or any government system — it generates JSON/Excel for you to upload manually
6. Plans and Credits
6.1 Plans

Prices are in MYR (Malaysian Ringgit) unless stated otherwise.
6.2 Credits
- 1 credit = 1 document processed (regardless of number of export formats)
- Free plan credits do not expire unless the account is deleted
- Paid plan credits reset monthly on your billing anniversary
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next month
- Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
6.3 Credit packs (one-time top-ups)
- 25 credits for RM 5
- 100 credits for RM 15
Top-up credits do not expire while your account is active.
7. Billing and Cancellation
7.1 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly via our payment processor
- Your first charge is at the time of upgrade
- Subsequent charges occur monthly on the same day
7.2 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via Account Settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
- No refunds for partial months — you have access until the period ends
7.3 Downgrades
- Downgrading to a lower plan takes effect at the next billing cycle
- If you downgrade below the number of saved templates you have, you can still access existing ones (read-only) but cannot create new ones until within the new limit
7.4 Refunds
- We do not offer refunds for consumed credits or elapsed subscription periods
- If the Service was unavailable due to our error for an extended period (>24 hours), contact support@fast-clerk.com — we will assess refund or credit on a case-by-case basis
- Credit pack purchases are non-refundable once credits have been used
8. Service Availability
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible
- FastClerk is not liable for losses arising from service downtime
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- FastClerk is not liable for errors in AI-generated outputs
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including loss of business, lost profits, or data loss resulting from your use of outputs)
These limitations apply even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Intellectual Property
- FastClerk's platform, code, branding, and UI are owned by FastClerk
- You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform
- The AI models used in the Service are owned by their respective providers — FastClerk is a licensed user of those models
11. Termination
11.1 By you
You may delete your account at any time via Account Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your data will be deleted per the Privacy Notice.
11.2 By us
FastClerk may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate the Acceptable Use terms (Section 4)
- Payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days
- We are required to do so by law
Where possible, we will notify you before taking action unless the violation is severe or requires immediate action.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- We will update the "Effective date" at the top
- We will notify you by email for material changes
- Continued use of the Service 14 days after notification constitutes acceptance
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
